This is our current view of core competence standards in race, culture and anti-discrimination practice competence for ALL trainees, qualified counsellors and psychotherapists, as well as mental health professionals, researchers, supervisors. It is based on a racial and cultural development theory, client experiences, research and experiential learning, as well as various multicultural competency sources.
