Find a Therapist

This directory is to help the public and institutes select a therapist or helping professional who has completed our race, culture and antidiscrimination core competence training and are deemed “antidiscrimination aware”. This Directory lists helping professionals such as counsellors, psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists and teachers.

We list people based on the following levels:

Race, Culture & Antidiscrimination Aware therapist. Have completed our core competence training, a short-term group encounter and be observed by a #TADF Trainer (Currently around 80 hours of development).

Race, Culture and Antidiscrimination Aware & Assessed therapist. In addition, have completed a formal assessment with #TADF including submission of case study, reflections as well as successfully completing an expert panel interview.

Please note we do not recommend any particular individual nor do we validate primary qualifications. It is important that you check full qualification credentials prior to seeking support and/or services. For example, some may still be in therapeutic training. Assessed therapists are at the top of the list. Names are in no particular order.
