This page contains list of things we can do to advocate for a Social Context, Normativity/Diversity & EDI by design curriculum and practice:

Light touch – requires little effort. most can do.

  1. Follow, comment on, and share social media posts to help improve reach from:
    1. LinkedIn: LinkedIn
    2. Facebook: Facebook
    3. Instagram: Instagram
  2. Create your own social media posts about the Wholeness Solution, the book, and the free resources, including learner and train-the-trainer materials. You can link and use descriptions from the website: tadf.co.uk
  3. Email or speak to anyone you know about the Wholeness Solution, especially tutors, training programme leads, providers, organisation EDI departments, and voluntary sector bodies. An email template for adaptation can be found here.
  4. Add information to your website or social media about #TADF aims, the new introduction to counselling book, and include links to tadf.co.uk and the #TADF logo. You may also wish to add resources from the website, either through direct links or by hosting the documents yourself. These two resources may be of particular interest:

  1. Reach out to potential advocates. Email individuals, community groups, or social enterprise organisations that may be interested in advocating for #TADF.
  2. Advocate for #TADF. As an individual, tutor, or community organisation, consider letting us know if you would like to advocate so we can continue developing the community around this work. Your advocacy will be added here alongside others: Join Our Network. There is no specific time or effort commitment beyond stating your advocacy position, and you may withdraw at any time.
  3. If you provide training, CPD, or related services, please send all tutors links to the following guidance and self-assessment tools prior to training events. This will begin process of change and visibility to the solution:
