[1] Primer resources. Before experiential lessons tutors and students should familiarise themselves with the Wholeness Solution first e.g., https://youtu.be/s41VoQsWO28?si=vh1OOtrrbDPt7POf (TASC) or https://vimeo.com/1166075933 (BAATN) or https://youtu.be/gX_tabZtWkY?si=gJl0FyW91X0opY4t (TADF). Primer slides below.
[2] Wholeness Solution Orientation lesson. Below are slides for teaching (can be adapted to audience/outcome desired e.g., organisation level vs students) including link to live video demonstration of initial experiential session with students and/or therapists. The purpose is to demonstrate an example of the lecturer training method (train the trainer) which help students embed within themselves a fuller understanding of themselves and their context using the Whole Experience WICKET and Whole Relational Model. This model is then used as a reference point for exploring all subjects in training to ensure context, diversity/normativity and EDI is embedded throughout (e.g., meeting SCOPED requirement).
Direct link to live with students video demonstration: https://youtu.be/osIhiS6Isec?si=DBz-PdzK8rs_wk5C (Thanks to students from Keele University and NAOS Institute for participating). This is a semi-experiential training but could be done purely experientially esp. if they have been introduced to the wholeness solution prior (as well as access to reference cards for WICKET and Relationship).
Embedded training pedagogy: Keep it simple: The whole embedded practice solution is accessible and low-cost. It involves introducing the Whole Self Experiencing model (WICKET-BOND – Barriers & Opportunities / Normativity Difference) at the start of course orientation, where the group is invited to reflect on their own experiences and their context. This helps embed the model into self and using it as a reference to understand of others/clients. Subsequently, it is used as a reference throughout all training, included in course materials from the outset, and displayed on classroom boards. Attendees refer to it as they progress through their learning and practice. Trainers in organisations can contact us for free train-the-trainer CPD. See here for train the trainer slides and example live lesson with students. And handout reference card for the model here.
